Libby Schroeder, MD FACS is a trauma and acute care surgeon at Froedtert Hospital/Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her BA in international public health from Brown University followed by her MD at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She completed her surgical residency and critical care fellowship at George Washington University Hospital as well as an acute care surgery fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital/Rutgers University.
Her research interests include global surgery, violence prevention and health disparities as well as the role of mindfulness training for surgical trainees as well as patients. She lives in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin with her husband, two kids, and two dogs.
Carolyn Starrett oversees Flatiron Health’s community oncology and research businesses and all corporate functions. She previously led Flatiron’s community oncology business, and succeeded Co-Founder Nat Turner as CEO on April 16, 2021. Prior to joining Flatiron in 2016, Carolyn spent 10 years in senior strategy, product, and operations roles at data and technology companies, and five years consulting with healthcare and technology companies at Boston Consulting Group. Carolyn holds a BA in economics and literature from Brown University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.
Dr. Bruce Price is co-founder and co-director of the Center for Law, Brain and Behavior. Dr. Price graduated from Harvard University cum laude, attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, then completed an affiliated internal medicine residency program, serving as its chief resident. He next trained in general neurology at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, returning to Boston where he pursued fellowship training in cognitive and behavioral neurology at Beth Israel Hospital. He served there as a staff member for ten years. In 1994, he was appointed chief of the Department of Neurology at McLean Hospital. He is an associate in neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital and associate professor of neurology at Harvard Medical School.
In 1996, he co-founded the Neuropsychology Fellowship Training Program at McLean Hospital. In 1999, he founded the Behavioral Neurology/Neuropsychiatry Fellowship Training Program at McLean Hospital. He is the co-founder of the Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, and the co-founder and associate director of the Fronto-Temporal Dementia Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 2006, the Bruce H. Price, MD Award for Clinical and Academic Excellence in Neuropsychiatry and Behavioral Neurology was established in his honor. He supervises approximately 20 psychiatry, neuropsychology, and neurology residents and fellows per year. He lectures and consults throughout the world, and regularly hosts international visitors.
He is the author of over 140 original articles, critical reviews, commentaries, and textbook chapters. He has served as a peer reviewer for 20 journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine. He has been the recipient of numerous federal, pharmaceutical, and foundation grants. An internationally recognized leader in the integration of neurology, psychiatry, neurosurgery, and neuropsychology, his research interests include the cognitive and behavioral consequences of neurologic and psychiatric diseases, brain dysfunction in violent and criminal behavior, frontal lobe functions including insight, judgment, empathy, self-awareness, social adaptation, and decision-making, memory disorders, and dementias. His fascination with the intersections between medicine, law, and ethics is longstanding.
Lee provides advisory and capital solutions to investment management firms, primarily focused on business development strategy, product design, and data science efficiency. Most recently served as Managing Partner and led corporate strategy at private equity firm Kudu Investment Management. Over the prior fifteen years, leadership team member at BlackRock, JP Morgan and PIMCO, serving on various executive, operating and global investment committees. Before becoming an executive leader, an account manager to institutional and middle market investors, including Fortune 1000 companies and Governmental Entities. Began career as a university coach and assistant professor. Completed a BS, MA, MBA and Executive Education in Negotiation. Volunteer at several charities that protect at-risk youth and promote inner-city education. Passions and hobbies include surfing, writing, and working with my children’s athletic programs. Published first book in 2020, Thirteen Waves, an Amazon best seller.
